Keep reading Keep reading Keep reading 4.1 Effort for equality Years ago, the ONCE Social Group created the Equal Opportunities Observatory, placed directly under the supervision of and dependency on the General Council’s Vice-Presidency for Equality, Human Resources and Institutional Culture and Digital Inclusion, a sign of commitment. This observatory promotes equal opportunities in all corners of the Group, for example with the ce-lebration of “International Women’s Day” throu-gh multiple activities: a main event consisting of a round table with several speakers and online participants from all over the country (held on 2 March under the slogan “Alliances with a gender perspective”), which was replicated with 36 ac-tions throughout the country. Swipe to read more It also organised several seminars: the first held on 27 June under the title “Diverse people, companies proud of their values”; and the second on 30 November under the title “Generational Diversity. The challenge of leading intergenerational teams”, always considering diversity in terms of age, gender or any other condition. In addition, ONCE has continued its social advocacy work through the commemorative images of more than 20 million coupons: Equal Pay Day: 22 February; International Women’s Day: 8 March; World Day against Trafficking in Persons: 30 July; and International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women: 25 November. In addition, a significant number of actions have been carried out: Collaborations and contact with representatives of the Administration and the Third Sector, aimed at addressing various equality issues Collaboration and participation in the ClosinGap cluster and its studies A conversation with the General Council of Colleges of Psychologists and in particular with the Official College of Psychology of Madrid Development of the collaboration agreement between the General Council of the ONCE and the Secretary of State for Equality and against Gender Violence Continued implementation of the agreement signed in 2017 with the Office of the European Parliament in Spain (in the framework of the “Where are they” project) Active participation in the Gender Working Groups of the Third Sector Platform (PTS), the European Network against Poverty and Social Exclusion in Spain (EAPN-ES) and the NGO Platform for Social Action (POAS) Signing of an agreement with the Confederation of Women in Equality. With regard to the IV ONCE Equality Plan 2022-2025, which lists 11 objectives and 37 measures, the main ones have been: Annual maintenance of the “Distintivo de Igualdad en la Empresa” (DIE). Consolidation and development of the figure of the ONCE Equality Agent. Organisation of an institutional event on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25N). Signing of a collaboration agreement between the ONCE and the National Confederation of Women in Equality, to contribute to equality in the field of social inclusion. Launch of the female talent programme “Discover your potential and lead your future”, aimed at middle management and visually impaired female executives. Updating of the “Protocol on sexual and/or gender-based harassment and cyber-harassment or sexual diversity at work”, having trained the responsible management team on this. Progress on gender-sensitive health and safety. Issue and presentation of coupons commemorating the most important dates in this area and publication of the manifesto on the occasion of 25N. Training for new recruits and those who did not join in 2022 on unconscious bias, as well as a new edition of the voluntary leadership and management skills course for women workers. Continuation of the project “Sales with female talent”, to promote the incorporation of women in the sales network.
