The ONCE Social Group has a series of tools in the field of ethics: the Code of Ethical Conduct; the Ethics Complaints Box; the ONCE Social Group’s Transparency and Ethics Observatory; and the Ethics Working Group that reports to this Observatory. All executive areas of the ONCE Social Group, as aforementioned, have codes of ethics and conduct for people with responsibility (at all le-vels) and a code aimed at all Group employees, last updated in 2023, of an indicative and inspi-rational nature. 6.2. Likewise, all ONCE Social Group employees are involved in the collaborative solidarity pro-ject “Gracias a Ti, nómina solidaria”, an initiati-ve that channels employees’ voluntary payroll rounding towards social projects that do not work strictly in the field of disability. The ONCE Social Group doubles the amount contributed by its employees. In addition, the ONCE organises training cour-ses to promote ethical conduct aligned with its values. In addition, staff can access, throu-gh PortalONCE, the online tutorial on “Preven-tion of money laundering and terrorist finan-cing” and the curriculum for previous courses on the code of ethics and responsible mana-gement of information. The ONCE Social Group expresses its firm commitment to support and respect human rights in the development of its activity, and promotes the extension of this to its relations with third parties, through different policies, and will continue to provide tools to prevent, mitigate and repair any negative impact. In order to avoid possible violations of these human rights in relations with suppliers and business partners, an external due diligence procedure has been consolidated whereby su-ppliers who, due to the characteristics of the contracting opportunity, present a high poten-tial risk, in addition to being evaluated on en-vironmental or social practices, among other aspects, are asked to adhere to the ONCE So-cial Group’s Code of Conduct for suppliers and business partners. In addition, they are advi-sed to join the UN Global Compact. In 2023, the Internal Due Diligence Procedu-re was implemented for the selection and re-cruitment of candidates for jobs classified as medium or high risk in terms of exposure to criminal risks.
