Swipe to read more Thus emerges the strategic and crucial goal of promoting the presence of students with disabilities at university or higher education centres, at the same level as the rest and with all kinds of help and support. In 2023, 1,483 scholarships were awarded between them: 424 were for young people with intellectual disabilities 253 business internships ONCE Founda-tion-CRUE Spanish Universities. 633 excellence scholarships, together with science camps, Navarra alumni, IESE, World Schools and language courses 85 scholarships for postgraduate studies, in-ternational mobility, sport, doctorate and re-search within the programme “Oportunidad al Talento” In addition, during the year, 283 scholarships were awarded under the Digital Talent Pro-gramme since its launch in 2020, with 52 of the total number of scholarship recipients (23 women and 29 men) completing their training during the year. The RADIA Programme continued, focusing on training in digital technologies, aimed at fostering the inclusion of women with disa-bilities in digital work environments and thus increasing the number of professional women in the technological fields. Thirty-five scholar-ships were awarded and, within the framework of the Queen Letizia Aid Programme for Inclu-sion, a total of 976 scholarships were awarded. The Aid Programme to Promote Access to Pu-blic Employment for People with Disabilities, which began in 2022 and provides aid to fi-nance part of the cost of preparing for com-petitive examinations, concluded in 2023 with the awarding of 53 grants. In addition, it is of note the fact that the ONCE Foundation organised the 6th International Congress on University and Disability under the title “Moving towards inclusive university models. Assessing Inclusion in its different di-mensions”, which brought together, in person and virtually, nearly 700 participants from 25 countries.
